🎯 How to Prepare for RS-CIT: Honest Tips

  • 1

Read the official book first. Your center will give you RKCL’s study material. Read it properly at least once and don’t skip chapters. The questions in the real exam follow the same pattern.
  • 2

Do the practical work. Open MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and actually use them. You’ll remember the theory much better, and the exam does ask questions that test whether you understand the concepts.
  • 3

Take one mock test every day. We have 11 free full-length mock tests here on Sarkari Topper. Each has 35 questions in the exact exam pattern. Try to finish one daily, and your speed will pick up in the last 15 days.
  • 4

Don’t ignore E-Governance. Many students skip it because it looks boring, but Rajasthan government apps and services bring in at least 5 to 7 questions.
  • 5

Solve previous year papers. The exam pattern doesn’t change much, and similar questions keep coming back. Go through the old papers at least once.
  • 6

Learn the keyboard shortcuts. Common MS Office shortcuts like Ctrl+C, Ctrl+Z and F12 get you 3 to 4 questions in almost every exam. They are easy marks.
